Beautifully decorated apartment with stunning views
Left on Jun 29, 2015 for a stay in Jun 2015

The apartment is only a short walk from the town square but is situated in a quiet location with beautiful views to the sea and mainland Greece. You could almost imagine you are in the Caribbean as the Windows and large balcony are decorated with sheer white curtains which billow in the cooling breeze. It is so relaxing to sit on the balcony in the evening with a book and glass of wine. Stelio and Dee couldn't have been more helpful and gave us lots of useful tips on where to visit during our stay. My only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer!  Highly recommended.

This apartment is all you need in vacation. Simple, well decorated, clean, very well located at 300m walking distance from Gaios village. It has one very large bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom + a terrace with a fantastic view on Gaios. Room is cleaned every day + linen changed every 3 days.  Stelio and Dee were absolutely fantastic and will help you a lot to feel at home, spending some time providing you with advice on the island (where to go, what to do, where to rent a car, etc). This place is very nice, again all what you need for a week or 2 in Gaios in the summer.

The best honeymoon destination we could have wished for!
Left on May 10, 2015 for a stay in Aug 2014

My husband and I stayed in one of these apartments in August 2014 for our honeymoon. We had SUCH a wonderful, perfect, romantic time! The view from the balcony was so gorgeous - you could see the little lights twinkling at night in the harbour, the lush vegetation, the bay and out to sea - incredible. Stelio and Dee were lovely - they welcomed us with such thoughtful touches and Stelio was really helpful, giving us lots of friendly advice - his passion for the island was infectious! The apartment itself was clean and beautifully decorated, a very calm place to relax. Up the hill from Gaios it offered a calm retreat, but was also within easy walking distance of all of the restaurants and amenities. We absolutely loved Gaios - it was extremely friendly, relaxed and clean and the sea was crystal clear. The island is very easy to get around and we made use of the local buses. A MUST of you go is to get a taxi to Erimitis and watch the sunset. We went twice - the second time for an incredible meal. It is extremely romantic. A beautiful desitination.

Excellent apartment, nice atmosphere
Left on Jul 13, 2015 for a stay in Jul 2015

We stayed at the apartment for 8 days, after bein in Corfu town. The owner is really nice and friendly and came to pick us up from the new port in Gaios. He drove us to the set of apartments and explained things to us, also giving us a brief oversight of Paxos Island. The room was large and spotlessly clean, the French patio doors were really nice, and we enjoyed our time on the balcony, watching the boats come in to dock. The apartment is on hill, we didn't mind this at all, as the block of properties were so quiet and cooler than the town itself. The cleaner is also very nice and did a good job cleaning the room. The air con is very good and there is always hot water. We were sad to leave and had such a nice relaxing time at the apartment. Would recommend.

Fantastic accomodation in gorgeous Gaios
Left on Sep 30, 2015 for a stay in Sep 2015

We stayed here for a week this month and our only wish is that it could have been for longer.. Theodora is is by far the very best holiday studio that we have ever stayed in; the host Stelio is superb, he is very professional and friendly, quick to respond and so the booking was very easy to arrange. He is a font of all knowledge about the local area, clearly passionate about his island and is very happy to provide guests with lots of useful info, from the best beaches and restaurants to where on the supermarket shelves to find the best quality wine :) advice we were only to glad to take him up on.

The studio accomodation itself its of exceedingly good quality, with great attention to comfort and detail, it was a pleasure to make it our home for a week. It is super-clean and bright, with very comfortable beds, a very clean and bright bathroom, a lovely wide balcony, comfortable chairs, a place to hang your towels etc. to dry, good quality kitchen equipment, washing up liquid and soap, and fresh sponges and dishcloths (amazing how many rentals overlook this one small detail - but not here!), and most importantly a breathtakingly beautiful view over the hills on one side and down towards the harbour on the other.....(am pausing to remember how lovely it was to be looking at that view!).... It is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a coffee or a couple of glasses of wine in the evening. Theodora is located just a short walk (not more that a few minutes) from the pretty streets and friendly cafes and bars of Gaios, and it was the perfect base from which to explore the wonderful island. This is easily done by hiring either a boat or scooter, we did this and it gave us the freedom to explore Lakka, Loggos and beyond. The only bad thing was leaving...thanks again Stelio and Dee for such a warm welcome, and thanks to Mirela (hope that I have spelt that right?) for working so hard to take care of us and keep the studio so nicely. We hope to return again very soon, many thanks again Kerri and Dave

We stayed in Theodoras aparts for 5 nights at the end of August 2015. We loved the place! Located up the hill with big spacious aparts, very clean and with good views of Gaios and sea. Stelios was an exceptional host and a good source of information for places and things to do in the island. We will definitely come back!

“I would have no doubt in recommending this property to anyone, it was clean, beautifully decorated, retaining a lot of the family history and art work. Situated in the centre of Giaos it is within reach of all local shops and restaurants. The owners, Stelio and Dee were wonderful and went beyond the call of duty when my wife broke her wrist, offering all the help and support. We loved it and will no doubt return in the future”.

Have just returned from almost 3 weeks holiday. The apartment was very bright, spacious and stylish. The bed was huge and comfortable with good pillows always a bonus. The place was immaculately clean on arrival and kept that way throughout our stay by the lovely young lady who came in daily. Now the view! Words cannot do it justice. It is simply stunning. I doubt one would ever tire of it! And the balcony feels private and is not directly overlooked. Stelios picked us up after a rocky start due to a four day ferry strike. The booking process was faultless and all emails responded to very promptly. He gave us a chat about the beautiful island which he is obviously passionate about, and was on hand for any queries or problems. He even came with a gift on our wedding anniversary. The price to pay for such a view is the killer hill back up from Gaois. Wish we had found the steps near the water cisterna sooner, as it was a much easier walk.

We didn't hire a car but used buses, taxis and lots of walking. If you like the odd 'pool' day The Paxos Beach Hotel welcomes non guests and is a lovely place to swim in the pool or just chill on sun beds on the beach. And the food is lovely and reasonably priced too. Bens bar is also a must for a visit...we got off the bus at the turn for Monodendri beach and walked down. Another nice beach...and a pleasant walk from Gaios is Mongonisi. We also walked to beaches in the opposite direction (north)...past the new port. We had a meal to celebrate our anniversary at Sunset bar at Erimitis. It is an amazing place to watch the sun set but, maybe we were just unlucky, the food was disappointing to say the least. The drinks are pretty pricey too. Finally I have to mention the wifi! If you need/want wifi on holiday then check that you will get it. There was a constant problem, which meant we had very poor connection for half our stay and no wifi at all for the remainder. Would it stop me going back? No, but it was an inconvenience. So in summary Paxos is just a beautiful island (as is Antipaxos) and Theodora is the best accomodation we have stayed in and we've been visiting Greece for 30 years. Well done Stelios and Dee.

The apartments are beautifully decorated. White, spacious, airy and spotlessly clean, with French doors opening to balcony with lovely views of the port. Convenient, quiet location above the town, a very short walk to shops, port and bus stop. The hosts, Stelio and Dee, could not have been more friendly or helpful. Stelio picked us up from the port and gave us lots of tips for touring the island ensuring we had a fabulous holiday. We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave. We have rebooked for 2016!
